Set in the heart of the expansive Wasatch and Uinta Mountains, Powderbird is the only outfitter in Utah permitted to helicopter ski on United States Forest Service land. We operate on the largest commercially permitted area in Utah, this area is larger than all of Utah's ski resorts combined. Our ski terrain is blessed with over 500+ inches of the world famous Utah powder each winter. This low density snow blankets a variety of alpine bowls, tight chutes and wide open glades drawing deep powder enthusiasts from all over the world.

Single Day - Individual Ticket
Powderbird’s Single Day package allows you to purchase any combination of seats aboard our helicopters. Whether you’re looking for a multi-day/multi-seat adventure for friends and family or a single day escape, this flexible option makes it easy to plan your heli-skiing vacation. How does it work? Come as you are and we’ll partner you with others according to ski ability and weight in order to optimize your day in the backcountry. Whether you’re interested in classic advanced-intermediate runs or aggressive slopes, our guides will assess the snowpack and conditions to pick the appropriate runs for you and the group.
Individual Day - Private
For our guests looking for the pinnacle in customized heli-skiing, filming or other projects, Powderbird offers exclusive access to Utah’s backcountry wonderland. Private Helicopter includes a dedicated helicopter reserved for preferred skiing, larger groups, and special projects.
