Our intro to rock climbing class provides a solid foundation on how to use a standard Top Rope setup (as often used in climbing gyms). Top rope climbing is the safest way to practice rock climbing and therefore a great opportunity to learn proper movement techniques and start your outdoor climbing practice.
This experience is hosted by Fabi, rock climbing expert for all occasions. Fabi is all about having a fun day out or getting technical while teaching the ins and outs of safe outdoor rock climbing. Fabi has been teaching and developing outdoor education programs since 2012.
- Upon arrival, navigate to the (dirt) parking lot right in front of the visitor center at Mission Trails Regional Park.
