The Jewel Golf Course
Selected for the 2021 Top 25 Historic Hotels of America Most Historic Golf Courses, The Jewel is one of the most unique courses in Northern Michigan and the United States. As the only course in the country with horse-drawn carriage rides between nines, it truly is a Grand golf experience.
A Car-Free Island
From a horse drawn taxi to a historical carriage tour, horses reign supreme on Mackinac Island with more than 500 horses calling the island their home. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the island and all transportation is provided by horse and carriage or bicycle.
