The Board Shop
The Board Shop is your gateway to exploring Santa Monica by land and sea. Reserve beach chairs, umbrellas, beach blankets, surf boards, bodyboards, board games, picnic kits, game consoles and even a record player for your room, and more — or borrow a GoPro to capture picture-perfect moments by the Pier. Guests get the first 2 hours of rental free.
Dog Friendly
Bring everyone on your getaway to The Pierside Santa Monica—even Fido. Our pet program allows you to bring your dog along and offers unique amenities to make their stay special. Our pet fee is $120 per stay for one dog up to 50lbs.
The Fitness Center
Our gym is a welcome reprieve for fitness-focused travelers. Stocked with all the cardio and training equipment you need, including a Peloton bike, it’s a place to hit your stride or personal best. Towels are fully stocked and all guests receive a complimentary reusable aluminum water bottle to stay hydrated.
Pool coming soon
Wind down in the water after a day of sightseeing. Our heated saltwater pool is currently under construction and opening in the fall of 2023. It’ll be a dreamy destination for a dip and a shady reprieve from the Santa Monica sun.

Featuring new mural by artist Shepard Fairey
We’re lucky enough to feature one of American street artist, Shepard Fairey’s largest murals at The Pierside Hotel as a tribute to Santa Monica’s vibrant history with creators and rebels from surf, skate, and music culture. Shepard Fairey is best known for his Barack Obama “Hope” poster, one of the most famous and influential street artists of the contemporary era.
