The best part is that the captain can take you to a shallow sandbar where everyone can hop out and splash around safely in the warm water. Located right on Zero Duval Street, overlooking the stunning expanse of the Gulf of Mexico, it offers breathtaking, panoramic views and an absolutely incredible location. We loved our stay here! The experience begins with a short, dedicated ferry ride over to Sunset Key, which feels so exclusive and exciting! Dining on the beach with your toes in the sand, surrounded by the soft glow of tiki torches as the sun sets over the water, is pure magic. It’s one of the most romantic meals we’ve ever had.
For a more classic Key West experience that’s equally enchanting, we absolutely love Louie’s Backyard. It’s set in a beautifully restored historic home right on the ocean. We love having a cocktail at their Afterdeck Bar, listening to the waves, before moving to our table for some incredible food. It’s elegant but in that relaxed, sophisticated way that Key West does so perfectly. If you’re looking for something a bit more intimate and tucked away from the crowds, you have to find Little Pearl. It’s a charming, cozy bistro on a quieter street, and it feels like your own little secret. The seafood is absolutely exquisite, and the candlelit atmosphere is just perfect for quiet conversation and savoring an incredible meal together.
