The location is everything here. Pelican Grand Beach Resort sits right on the Atlantic Ocean, and I mean right on it. We spent a lot of time just lounging on the sand, soaking up the sun, and taking long walks along the shore. The resort also offers so many activities, like kayaking and paddle boarding, which are a fantastic way to get out on the water. And if you’re looking for a little pampering, the PURE Spa is the perfect place to unwind. It’s a full-service spa with treatments that will make you feel like a brand new person.
And the food? Oh my goodness, the food. They have an amazing restaurant called OCEAN2000, and it is a must-try. The dining room has incredible ocean views, and the food is just as spectacular. They specialize in fresh seafood, and every dish we had was just so delicious. We also loved the more casual O2K Lounge and Emporium, which is this adorable old-fashioned ice cream parlor. It’s the perfect spot for a sweet treat after a long day. You can also have a private beachside dinner, which is just the most romantic and special experience.
